Greenville, SC – 11/8/2023 – Greenville Water has completed repairs on the 72-inch main break near Adkins Water Treatment Plant. We are currently refilling our systems’ storage tanks to normal levels. After this process is complete, we expect to resume normal operations within 24 hours.
We would like to thank our utility partners for providing support during this time of need as well as the Greenville Water team for its diligence and dedication in working around the clock to repair the break.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers and partners during this event.
Once normal operations are resumed, Greenville Water will provide an update to lift the conservation notice. There are no water quality concerns from this break.
