Group Tours of Our Water Treatment Plant
Bring your class (5th grade and up) or community group for a behind-the-scenes look at how Greenville Water delivers clean, safe drinking water every day. Our in-depth tour offers a memorable, educational experience that takes you behind the scenes to see how water is treated and delivered to homes, schools and businesses.
Tours begin at the Stovall Water Treatment Plant with a brief presentation covering Greenville Water’s history and the key steps in our treatment process. From there, we'll take you on a guided walk through the facility to see how we transform source water into high-quality drinking water; Attendees will learn about each step of the treatment process—from raw water intake to filtration, chemical treatment, disinfection, and distribution.
Tour Details:
- Duration: Approximately 1 hour
- Age Requirement: For ages 10 and older
- Group size: 10-25 participants per group
- Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time

Due to construction at our Stovall Water Treatment Plant, all tours at this location are suspended until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we make important facility improvements.

Group Guidelines:
- Group size: 10–25 participants (recommended for 5th grade and up / age 10+)
- For groups larger than 25, please allow additional time as tours may be split to accommodate space limitations.
- All tour requests must be submitted at least three (3) weeks in advance of the desired date
