Your Tap Water is Safe to Drink

With growing public concern about Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to ensure our community that your drinking water is safe to consume and use.

The Greenville Water filtration and disinfection treatment methods are effective in the removal of all viruses as required by the Safe Drinking Water Act and the Environmental Protection Agency. Our Water Quality team, working with S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control, collects more than 34,000 samples and performs more than 70,000 tests each year to guarantee that the water provided to our customers meets or exceeds stringent federal and state standards.

Learn more about the quality of our water by viewing our Water Quality Report.
