Team Member of the Quarter - Michael Turner

Each quarter Greenville Water recognizes a new Team Member of the Quarter (TMOQ).

TMOQ focuses on recognizing and rewarding employees for their exceptional efforts; for going above and beyond the call of duty, exceeding customer expectations, accomplishing a significant milestone, or achieving a cost savings initiative.

Michael Turner, Operations Crew Lead II, was selected as our fourth-quarter TMOQ for 2022. Over the holidays, Michael demonstrated his reliability and leadership skills in the face of unexpected events.

“On the holiday weekend for Thanksgiving, Michael led a crew all day Saturday to help restore the 36-inch main break on Frontage Road. With a lean crew, he led the team while he was working on multiple pieces of equipment to make sure we finished in a timely manner. Everyone that worked the repair executed flawlessly from start to finish. Michael's leadership was essential for our success, he worked the entire team safely for long hours to assure the final step of restoration was achieved,” said Gary Baysinger, Director of Field Operations. "Michael’s leadership and experience are counted on daily; he motivates our team while accomplishing work in a timely, efficient manner."
