Greenville Water team members, Elizabeth Lee and Matt Iles, were recently honored at a SCAWWA / WEASC Blue Ridge Foothills District event where they were awarded Engineer of the Year and Young Professional of the Year.
Elizabeth, our assistant director of water resources, was awarded Engineer of the Year for demonstrating excellence by managing, directing, operating and educating in her field. Elizabeth joined Greenville Water in October 2020 and brings a wealth of experience to our team in environmental engineering and water resources. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering and a Masters in Civil Engineering and currently holds her professional engineering licenses in SC, NC and GA.
In our Engineering Department, Matt an engineer II, received the honor of Young Professional of the Year for demonstrating an active commitment to the organization and the profession. Matt has been with Greenville Water in our Engineering department for just over a year and demonstrates initiative in all areas of his job. He was recently was selected as the Greenville Water Team Member of the Quarter.
