Greenville, SC — June 11, 2025 – Greenville Water is pleased to announce the release of its 2024 Water Quality Report, also known as the Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This annual report provides customers with important information about the quality, safety, and reliability of their drinking water, as well as details on source water protection, treatment processes, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Greenville Water is proud to report that, once again, our drinking water meets or exceeds all regulatory standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES). In addition, Greenville Water was once again recognized for having the best-tasting drinking water in South Carolina in 2024.
The report is available online in both English and Spanish at Water Quality | Greenville Water and printed copies may be requested by calling 864-241-6000 or visiting the Greenville Water office located at 407 W Broad St. Greenville, SC. 29601
"Transparency and trust are central to our mission," said Jeff Phillips, chief operations officer at Greenville Water. "This report demonstrates the care, science, and stewardship that go into protecting our drinking water every day."
Serving the Upstate community since 1918, Greenville Water is one of the largest public water systems in the state. The CCR is an essential tool for educating the public about the origins of their water and the rigorous testing it undergoes throughout the year.
Greenville Water encourages all customers to read the report and learn more about how their water is sourced, treated, and delivered to their homes. Engaged and informed customers play a vital role in preserving water quality for future generations.
