Apr 01, 2020
Starting Monday, April 13 through Friday, April 17, 2020 Greenville Water will begin work on the Green Avenue Valve Rehabilitation Project.
The Green Avenue Valve Rehabilitation Project consists of two 48-inch water main valves scheduled to be repaired at the intersection of Green Avenue and Vardry Street in downtown Greenville. This requires that the intersection be closed for the duration of the work and traffic be rerouted around the area.
Construction activities will generally take place between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekend work is not planned at this time, but may be necessary to expedite the project.
The valve rehabilitation project is part of Greenville Water’s ongoing planned investment in the drinking water system to ensure reliable service to its customers. During this project your water services will not be impacted or disrupted.
If you have any questions regarding this project, or if we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at 864-241-6100.
