When we celebrate Earth Day every day, we all win!
The theme of Earth Week 2021 is Restore Our Earth, which focuses on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems. In this way, the theme rejects the notion that mitigation or adaptation are the only ways to address climate change. It is up to every one of us to Restore Our Earth not just because we care about the natural world but because we live on it. We all need a healthy Earth to support our jobs, livelihoods, health & survival, and happiness. A healthy planet is not an option — it is a necessity.
At Greenville Water, we see this as a chance to honor the work we do every day to protect, promote and preserve our natural resources as leaders in our field and innovators in green methods surrounding drinking water services. This year, Greenville Water has created a fun and interactive way for our community to celebrate this occasion with a special Earth Day Bingo!
We invite you to join in all week long by taking personal eco-centered actions that tie to the work we do at Greenville Water. From conserving water to recycling right to preventing pollution in your neighborhood, you’ll be doing your part to help. You can share your progress as your cover your board on social media, tagging Greenville Water and using the hashtag #greenvillewaterearthdaybingo.
Share your Bingo card by posting a photo on Facebook or Instagram and tag Greenville Water by May 3, 2021, and be sure to use the #greenvillewaterearthdaybingo. Bingo winners will be selected from the completed entries to receive an Earth Day prize pack!
Together we will all learn ways to save water, save money, prevent pollution and recycle better.
