Greenville Water has made significant progress in returning to normal operations. Both water treatment plants and several pump stations have been restored to utility power. The remaining pump stations are accessible and running on reliable backup power.
During the last 5 days, we have experienced no transmission or distribution interruptions, and service has been consistent and continuous. We continue to deliver quality water to all our customers. We have also reached out to our nearby utilities to offer our assistance and have been helping to supply water to the greater Asheville area in their time of need.
We know there are rumors that water service could be interrupted but be assured that is not the case. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. As always, the most reliable information about Greenville Water will come from us.
