Greenville Water Provides Stable Water Rates for Customers Three Years Running

For the third consecutive year, Greenville Water’s strong financial position continues through 2019 without an increase in water rates.

Greenville Water provides long-term, sustainable delivery of safe, reliable drinking water to all customers while maintaining some of the lowest rates in the country. This type of stability draws upon Greenville Water’s heightened sense of stewardship and efficiency in managing water resources.

Additionally, Greenville Water maintains a AAA rating from all three financial services. In the recently published Annual Issuer Comment, Moody’s Investors Service cited our abundant water supply, strong reserve levels, steady and consistent capital investment, moderate debt levels, and affordable rates. This demonstrates Greenville Water’s superlative financial position is strong relative to other AAA rated utilities.

“Our triple AAA rating is a strong indicator that we are financially responsible with a stable future,” said David Bereskin, CEO of Greenville Water. “We are pleased to see that our financial strategies and management policies have ensured a strong financial future, ultimately allowing us to continue providing our customers with quality water at an affordable price.”
