Community Room

Greenville Water is happy to host local neighborhood associations and community groups in the Community Room located in our Operations Building at 517 West Washington Street.

Fees

While the room is available free of charge between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, a $90 cleaning refundable deposit is required.

After hours events require the presence of a Greenville Police Officer or Greenville County Deputy. Greenville Water is happy to arrange this service for $30/hour (minimum of 3 hours). This rate is set by the Greenville Police Department.

If you require the use of IT/AV equipment after hours, please note that all IT coordination and training must take place directly with IT staff Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm the week prior to the event. A/V equipment will NOT be available if you do not make the necessary arrangements. 

The Community Room can be shown by appointment only. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

At this time we cannot accommodate private parties such as wedding receptions.

  • Caterer’s kitchen with stove, oven, microwaves, refrigerator and sink.
  • State of the Art A/V equipment
  • Wi-fi access
  • Convenient access to parking deck

 

The Community Room can be partitioned into two smaller spaces.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • Please submit your request at least two weeks before the event. It may take up to seven business days to confirm your reservation.
  • Please include event preparation time in your reservation request. You will not be allowed to access the building prior to the time defined in your request.
  • Please note that alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
  • If you request A/V access, you must coordinate directly with our IT department.
  • You MUST leave the room in the condition you found it.
