Greenville Water is proud to partner with South Carolina Adopt-a-Stream (SC AAS) as an official Water Quality Test Kit checkout location. Through this partnership, certified SC Adopt-a-Stream volunteers have convenient access to monitoring equipment that supports the collection of valuable water quality data throughout South Carolina.

The following test kits are available for checkout:

Freshwater Test Kit
Used to monitor key water quality indicators, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, transparency, and bacteria.

Macroinvertebrate Test Kit
Used to evaluate stream health by collecting and identifying aquatic macroinvertebrates, which serve as indicators of overall water quality and habitat conditions.

Test kits are available to certified SC Adopt-a-Stream volunteers and may be checked out for up to seven (7) days.

Kit Loan Agreement:

This agreement grants permission to use a kit loaned from Greenville Water to conduct monthly monitoring using South Carolina Adopt-a-Stream protocol. The individual accepts responsibility of kit care and maintenance and safe return of all equipment and appropriate material on loan. The individual will be held responsible for the repair or replacement cost of broken or misused material. Equipment may not be used for anything other than South Carolina Adopt-a-Stream sampling.
