Better Business Bureau® Honors Greenville Water with the 2019 Business of Integrity Award

Greenville, SC – November 19, 2019 – The Better Business Bureau® of the Upstate awarded Greenville Water the 2019 Business of Integrity Award for outstanding customer service.

“As a utility provider, Greenville Water goes above and beyond to uphold high ethical standards and customer service. We are proud to select them as a recipient of the 2019 Business of Integrity Award,” said Vee Daniel, president and CEO, Better Business Bureau of the Upstate.

The Business of Integrity Awards recognize outstanding businesses for their commitment to exceptional marketplace standards that benefit their consumers, employees, suppliers, industry peers and the communities in which they do business and serve.

“We are committed to maintaining high ethical standards and serving as a beacon of trust in our community,” said Gary VerDouw, Director of Business Services, Greenville Water. “This award recognizes the integrity of our dedicated employees and their efforts to continuously improve customer satisfaction.”

Nominations for the awards are submitted by customers or the companies themselves, therefore, this award differs from many others in the Upstate. Rather than being decided by popularity, nominees are put through a rigorous application process evaluating the company’s demonstrated commitment to business practices that build trust with employees, customers and vendors in the marketplace.

As a local recipient of the 2019 Business of Integrity Award, Greenville Water is eligible to enter the Council of Better Business Bureau, Inc.’s 2019 National Torch Award.
