Making Holiday Dreams Come True

Every year, The Salvation Army of Greenville provides Christmas gifts to children through the Angel Tree program. In Greenville, Pickens and Oconee Counties, The Salvation Army serves more than 2,000 children! Without Angel Tree, many of these children would otherwise have very little or nothing to open during the holiday season.

Greenville Water team members immediately stepped up to “adopt” 25 Angels through Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, knowing our community’s need. Thanks to our team and our customers, we provided all of the Angels with their requested personalized gifts and much-needed items like shoes, coats, pants, dresses, skirts and shirts.

Customers were invited to participate by taking a tag from our lobby tree and returning the purchased item along with the Angel’s tag.

“We were thrilled to have some of our customers participate in the Angel Tree program, said Emerald Clark, public relations manager at Greenville Water. “Thanks to our generous community and Greenville Water team members, these Angels will have a very merry Christmas!”

Our team members LOVED shopping for our Angels and genuinely enjoy giving back to our community and look forward to “adopting” more Angels next year!

We hope that the Angels’ holiday is filled with love and joy — knowing their community is always here for them!
